SAN JOAQUIN FINE WOODWORKERS ASSOCIATION (SJFWA)

SJFWA is an association which provides social and educational opportunities for woodworkers located in the central valley of California, including Fresno, Madera, and Tulare counties. We strive to meet the needs of everyone – from beginning woodworkers through seasoned craftsmen – interested in all forms of wood craft, including turning and scrolling.

    1. We hold monthly meetings with featured presentations at each meeting.
    2. We offer regular classes on all aspects of woodworking so our members can hone their skills.
    3. We operate an annual toy program where members construct thousands of wooden toys for distribution to local charity organizations.
    4.  Sub-groups on Scroll Sawing and Fine Woodworking meet regularly to refine special skills.

We are a 501c(3) not for profit organization and as such we depend on the generosity of our 100+ members and many other sources to support our educational and philanthropic initiatives.  Should you desire to make a donation in support of these activities, you may do so by clicking the PayPal donate button or sending a check made out to SJFWA to:
