The SJFWA will be offering a number of classes this year for beginning and more advanced woodworkers. Stan Silva recently agreed to become the education chairperson and is in the process of planning classes.

If you have a class you would like to see included in this year’s schedule or are willing to teach a class please contact Stan (stansilva@comcast.net). We would consider paid instructors from outside the club as an option.

There are currently two club sponsored subgroups: fine woodworking and scroll sawing. These groups meet monthly and are a great way to hone your skills. Membership is required to participate in these groups. It is anticipated that additional sub-groups will be formed.

All classes are open to the general public, but to enroll all students must be a member of the SJFWA. Annual membership fee is $35 ($17.50 after July 1st) and an application form can be found elsewhere on this website. Class descriptions, including fees, will be added to this web site as soon as dates and locations are finalized.

Please keep checking this site as we hope to added specific dates, class descriptions and fees. Some classes will be limit the number of students and will be offered on a first-come basis. For questions, contact the President at sjfwoodworkers@gmail.com.
