Mug Making 101
Craig Gough held a class on making wooden mugs at Tulare Western on July 13th. Seven students made it to the class (there were some last minute cancellations). Both woodworking groups were well represented – most attendees were members of both the Sequoia Woodturners and San Joaquin Fine Woodworking association, but we did have a couple who were members of one Club, but not the other.
Craig demonstrated the techniques he uses to hollow, rough cut, carve and finish the rustic wooden mugs he’s been making lately. This was a fun class that covered a number of different skills and tools.
